Flow to Grow Yoga

Hello
Hi there! My name is Niamh and I'm from Wexford, Ireland but currently based in Sydney, Australia. I am a passionate yoga instructor committed to helping people unlock their true potential through yoga. I have a great appreciation for the mind-body connection and strive to create a welcoming and mindful environment where people can journey inwards towards physical and mental well-being. My teaching style draws from various yoga styles, placing emphasis on breath awareness, alignment, mindful movement and flow. By offering compassionate guidance, I aim to empower yogis to embrace their unique abilities and uncover the never ending benefits of yoga in their everyday lives, and to have a bit of fun with their practice as well!
My Story
For a large part of my college years, I lived in a fast-paced blur - always on the go, juggling commitments, and rarely stopping to catch my breath. Then the world paused. Like so many, the Covid lockdown brought me back home to live with my parents, and for the first time in a long time, I slowed down.
It was during this time that I unrolled a mat that I bought from the middle aisle in Aldi and began practicing yoga in the living room with my mum. What started as a way to move our bodies became something much deeper - a moment of calm, of connection, of peace in the middle of so much uncertainty.
Eventually, I signed up for a Yoga Teacher Training with Hearts of Courage through Repose Yoga Studio and Yoga With Maura. At the time, I had no plans to teach. I just felt called to explore the ancient roots of yoga, to understand the philosophy and wisdom behind what I was experiencing on the mat.
That decision changed everything.
I went on to complete my yoga teacher training as well as my restorative yoga training and began with small community classes on Pembroke Road with friends and family. Slowly, things grew - from living room sessions to online classes, then into studios and retreats. Each step has felt organic, guided, and aligned.
An opportunity to travel and teach in Australia came next, and that’s where I currently find myself, continuing to share and deepen my practice as both student and teacher.
Yoga has become more than movement for me. It’s a way of life. My practice is always evolving. I am forever a student - grateful for the stillness, the breath, the self-awareness, and the sense of presence that yoga brings.
Be kind to yourslef, be kind to others and lots of love & light.
